Original Air Intake
1. Remove Resonator Box.
- Tilt the cargo bed to access the engine compartment.
- Remove the passenger-side seat back rest.
- Detach the cab liner by removing one plastic push pin and one T20 screw.
- Disconnect the two intake hoses from the resonator box.
- Remove the resonator box completely.
2. Secure Vent Hose.
- Locate the vent hose previously attached to the resonator box.
- Use the two supplied ¾” vinyl-coated clamps and the nuts/bolts from the resonator box to secure the vent hose to the rear cab wall (where the resonator box was mounted.

3. Install Silicone Coupler on Airbox
- Slide the larger stainless steel clamp onto the larger side of the silicone coupler.
- Slide the smaller stainless steel clamp onto the smaller side of the coupler.
- Attach the larger end of the coupler to the airbox outlet and tighten the larger clamp.
- Insert the small/elbow tube into the smaller end of the coupler, do not tighten yet.

4. Assemble and Position Intake Tubes
- Insert the longer tube into the shorter/elbow tube and ensure proper alignment.
- Mark the cab wall at the point where the two intake tubes join (flared section). This is the location for securing the 2” support clamp.
5. Drill Mounting Hole and Secure Support Clamp
- Drill a 3/8” hole at the marked location.
- Using the 2” vinyl-coated clamp, the rubber spacer/vibration dampener, bolt, washer, and hex nut as shown, attach the intake to the cab.
- Insert the supplied 1.5” hex bolt from the inside of the cab outward.

6. Install Upper Snorkel Support Clamp and Rain Cap
- Install the 1-3/4” vinyl-coated clamp around the upper/longer snorkel tube.
- Remove the top T40 bolt from the upper door hinge bracket.
- Use this bolt to secure the clamp to the hinge bracket.
- Check for clearance to prevent rubbing against body panels; adjust as needed.
- Install rain cap on top of the upper/longer snorkel tube.
- Tighten all hose clamps and support clamps securely.

7. Tilt the bed all the way up and notch out the plastic skirting on the front of your bed so
it does not interfere with pipe.
8. Reinstall cab liner and seat back.
Over the Top Intake for HD11
Hardware Kit Contents
• Rubber bushing
• Vinyl coated clamp
• Air cleaner cap
Installation Instructions
- Raise the cargo box. (Optional: take the pin out that attaches the strut to the bottom of the cargo box for more room/easier access.)
- Remove the 7 push pins that are holding the flap to the cargo box on the edge nearest the cab.

- At the top of the cab on the left side remove the top bolt from the door hinge and save it for step number 8.

- Loosen the hose clamp on the intake tube for the air box, remove the 2 screws to the right and left of the resonator, and remove the entire resonator.

- Insert the curved end of the Over the Top Air Intake into the provided rubber bushing; it will be snug.
- Insert both into the air inlet to the air box where you loosened the clamp.

- At the other end of the Over the Top Air Intake, place the air cleaner cap on top.
- Place the vinyl hose clamp around the cuff of the cap and secure both the Intake and the cap to the vehicle with the screw removed in step 3.
- Re-tighten the hose clamp you loosened in step 4 (around the Intake, bushing, and air inlet tube).
- Reinstall the flap you removed in step 2.
- Lower the cargo box slowly until flap contacts the Intake tube, note where contact is made and notch out flap to allow for bed to close properly.

Hardware Kit Contents
- silicone coupler
- 2-3” stainless steel adjustable hose clamp
- 2-2.75” stainless steel adjustable hose clamp
- 2” vinyl coated clamp
- 1-7/8” vinyl coated clamp
- 1.5” long hex bolt
- washer
- lock nut
- rubber spacer/vibration dampener
- air cleaner cap
- U-clip nut (optional, see instructions)
Installation Instructions
- Open the cargo box (optional: take the pin out of the attached strut
beneath the cargo box to allow it to open further and give you more
working room).

- Remove the driver’s seatback.
- Working from the left side of your rig, behind the driver’s seat, locate
the factory installed clutch side air intake tube.
- Locate the double lines on that tube and cut the tube 3.5” above those double lines.

- On the right side of the same tube, above the cut and to the right, locate the screw (tx20) that fastens the air tube to the cab. Remove that screw.

- At the top of the elbow on the same tube, locate the clamp. Loosen and remove the clamp entirely. This should allow you to remove a section of tube between that clamp and your cut.

- In the space left by removing that piece of tubing, attach the provided rubber
coupler to the lower opening (the clutch cover intake).

- Slide the larger stainless steel adjustable hose clamp over the coupler and
tighten it around the base to secure it to that piece of tube. (see photo)
- Slide the smaller stainless steel silver hose clamp over the top of the coupler
(the narrower end) but do not tighten yet.
- Insert the non-flared end of the Over the Top Intake elbow into the top of the
coupler. Do not tighten the clamp yet.
- Slide the 1-7/8” vinyl coated clamp over the top of the flare in the smaller tube ensuring the holes face upward and rest against the cab.

- Insert the upper snorkel of the Over the Top Intake into the flared end of the elbow. Be sure the upper snorkel aligns with the outside of the cab.
- Once the upper snorkel is straight, mark the back of the cab where the holes of the vinyl clamp around the flare align.
- Remove the upper snorkel and drill a 3/8” hole at the marked location. (see
corner option if you prefer not to drill)
- Place the 1.5” hex bolt from the inside of the cab behind the driver’s seat to the
back of the cab through the hole you drilled. Using the rubber spacer/vibration
dampener, bolt, washer, and hex nut as shown, attach the vinyl-coated clamp to
the cab.

- Remove the top T40 bolt from the upper door hinge bracket.

- Re-insert the upper snorkel to the flared end of the elbow.

- Slide the remaining vinyl-coated clamp around the top of the upper
snorkel.
- Place the air cleaner cap on top of the upper snorkel and position the
vinyl-coated clamp around both.
- Tighten all hose clamps and support clamps securely.
- Slowly tilt the cargo box and mark where the plastic skirting will need to
be notched so it doesn’t interfere with the Intake.
- Notch the skirting.
- Close the cargo box and replace the driver’s seat back.
